The home base for development of the Virtual Reality User Interface (Vrui), DataLab’s software platform for collaborative research with virtual reality. This space includes two stations for researchers to immerse themselves in their 3D data and collaborate in VR in real time with colleagues at and beyond DataLab. Researchers can request a demo by emailing us.
Classroom

DataLab’s classroom can seat 40 participants with laptops, and up to 60 for lecture style seating. We hold office hours, workshops, and host events in this space. DataLab affiliates and partnering organizations can apply to use the classroom for activities supporting DataLab’s mission.

Lab

DataLab provides office and open work spaces for our Affiliated faculty, researchers, visitors, postdoctoral scholars and students working on interdisciplinary projects related to Data Science and Informatics.
