Peer Organized ‘Omics Help (POOH)
This graduate student led working group is a resource for computational biology research, facilitating bioinformatic learning and discussions. POOH is a registered graduate student organization with a broader community focus for grad students, postdocs, and other academic researchers. Come to this group’s informal meetups with your own questions, or to help others answer theirs. Typical questions include experimental designs and analyses for transcriptomic/metagenomic/genomic projects. POOH generally meets weekly in the DataLab Classroom (Shields Library room 360) as a voluntary effort.
