Davis Python Users Group (D-PUG) – Studio Session
May 23, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
D-PUG is a friendly users group where community members, including DataLab’s data scientists, give and receive help and guided tutorials (short format workshops, demos, talks, etc.) about using Python. D-PUG is open to anyone in the Davis community who uses Python for research, other professional work, or as a hobby. (For homework help please go to your instructor/TA instead.) This group is run by graduate student Maggie Berrens, DataLab data scientist Nick Ulle, and Professor Andrew Fox.
The D-PUG schedule alternates between structured workshops and free-form drop-in “studio” sessions. The studio sessions don’t have a specific agenda, so come with your Python questions or just pull up a (virtual) seat and code along in the company of other Python loving researchers.
Meetups in Spring 2022 will be virtual via Zoom on Mondays at 2-3pm (workshops usually run longer; see the workshop description for details). Pre-registration is required for the Zoom link.
