ArcGIS Insights for Iterative and Exploratory Data Analysis (#maptimeDavis)
October 18, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Description: ArcGIS Insights is an analytics workbench that allows you to perform iterative and exploratory data analysis. You can answer questions with data from ArcGIS, Excel spreadsheets, business databases, and more by simply dragging the data to perform analysis (from Esri). All members of the UC Davis community have access to this tool through the UC Davis ArcGIS Online account. Others may get a free trial account prior to the workshop. Most of the workshop will be hands-on using a lesson from Esri’s learn.arcgis.com web site.
Learning Objectives: Participants will learn the capabilities of ArcGIS Insights and consider how they may be able to apply this tool to their own work.
Prerequisites: Participants will need an ArcGIS Online account to participate. All UC Davis affiliates automatically have access by logging in to ago.ucdavis.edu (but it may take up to 15 minutes for your account to become active the first time you log in). Others should create a trial account or use an ArcGIS Online organizational account to which they are already have access.
