California Water Data Challenge 2023

Challenge Overview

Approximately 1 million Californians annually lack access to clean water due to droughts, problems with domestic wells and small systems, and other issues with water supply. The California Water Data Challenge (#CAWaterDataChallenge) is hosted each year by the State of California with the goal of using open data to better understand the accessibility of safe drinking water in the state and create solutions to the problems and vulnerabilities of drinking water access.

On August 9-10, 2023, the California Water Data Challenge will host a number of events in La Jolla, California. You can learn more about the Water Data Challenge on their website.
