Join UC Davis Geography Graduate Group Alumnus Cameron Denny for a workshop exploring Facebook’s RapiD OSM Editor. Rabid is an OpenStreetMap (OSM) editor that increases mapping speeds by suggesting roads detected through a Machine Learning process. We’ll apply the tool to add new data to OSM.
After this workshop learners should be able to:
– Apply RabiD to creating new data in OSM
– Understand the basics of the OSM dataset
PREREQUISITES & TARGET LEARNERS:
No previous experience is necessary. Please bring a computer to participate in the hands-on experience part of this workshop.
