Lindsay Poirier will give an interactive presentation exploring what constitutes “quality” data when communities are engaged in collection and analysis, and how diverse stakeholders shape data narratives. Our second optional hour will be dedicated to practical project discussions concerning data quality and citizen science. We plan to discuss youth engagement with data and community action through the Center’s “Our Forests” project in Nevada County, and you are welcome to bring a relevant challenge.
